AIT Solutions offers innovative solutions in technology, engineering, environment, development, and management to contribute towards sustainable development of the region through expanded engagement and delivery of AIT’s research, knowledge, and expertise.
Geoinformatics Center aims to create an environment that would help the need of the region in term of short-term training courses that are tailored to address potential applications in the regions.
Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific is a multi-disciplinary, self-financed, non-profit and semi-autonomous regional knowledge Centre with a mandate to promote sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific by offering capacity building and knowledge services.
The AIT Belt & Road Research Center is dedicated to serve the regional social and economic sustainability through innovative and collaborative research and capacity building activities. Also support research and studies in sustainability issues of the Belt and Road region
intERLab provides research, training and education by accommodating the emerging impact of the Internet in development context, the laboratory will concentrate not only on technical issues but also on business and social aspects.
The AIT AI Center is an outreach center with the mission of consulting, professional training, and technical R&D on applications of modern artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to help public and private enterprises transform themselves into data-driven decision making organizations. We develop solutions in the areas of predictive modeling, decision support, video analytics, and natural language processing, with applications in health and wellness, agriculture, environment, energy, safety and security, transportation, and infrastructure.
Yunus Center AIT (YCA) is a collaboration between Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus and the Asian Institute of Technology. The first such center established with an academic institution, YCA’s vision is to harness the power of social business to create a poverty-free world.
AIT in Vietnam (AIT-VN) is committed to an international quality higher education. This combined with its long history in Vietnam and associated in-depth insights into legal, economic and political landscape, social and cultural trends provide AIT with comparative advantage not available to any other international institution of higher learning in Vietnam.
AIT Entrepreneurship Center is a place for innovation, creation, and incubation to nurture and drive the entrepreneurial capabilities of AIT in collaboration with the industry to support the socio-economic development of the region.
Other Centers and Labs
Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center stimulate the establishment and growth of Green technology-based start-up companies and other compatible businesses. By fulfilling this mission, the incubator would contribute to job creation, and provide for enhanced economic health to the region.
The Center of Excellence in Nanotechnology (COEN) is located in the heart of the AIT campus, which became an institute-wide interdisciplinary research center in 2014 while its academic nanotechnology program is housed in the School of Engineering. COEN at AIT provides two core functions. The research center conducts and supports nanotechnology research and development at AIT.
The Marine Plastics Abatement (MPA) laboratory has been newly constructed specially for the professional master’s degree program of MPA. The lab is equipped with the facilities that are used to analyze microplastics in water, soil, and air samples. The facilities were fulfilled to cover the analytical steps including sampling, extraction, and microscopic observations of the microplastics.
Habitech Center is a research and development center for building components and building technology established in 1988. Habitech Center has conducted research and developed various building components that are environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and cost-effective.
The Asian Center for Engineering Computations and Software (ACECOMS) established in 1995 as one of the first centers of excellence at AIT. ACECOMS aims to provide an impetus to the research in engineering computations, the development of quality computer software tools for engineering applications, and training on their effective use.
BIM Lab provides expertise in identifying and managing information regarding construction based projects allowing effective coordination, communication and collaboration. This lab allows to produce Designs, Models, Analytical Information for different field of engineering providing digital planning and smart solution.
